today i got major progress done. i completed Haruhi's skirt!!!!!

Shirt and details (collar, ribbon, etc)

If I'm having a bad day, I do my best to repress it or just stay quiet until I can deal with it in privacy.
Then I'll turn on my "Emo songs" playlist and just chill.

I got back from vacationing in FL on Tuesday, it was good, we went to disneyworld and i got sunburnt.

Haven't touched Haruhi-chan since I left, lol. Now's just not good, time-wise. Senioritis and being gone for 7 days from school - not a good combo.

So yeah. I'm into music right now. Frou Frou/Imogen Heap, Cascada, The Postal Service, Death cab for cutie, snow patrol....
It's all i need right now lol.

Going to After-Prom tonight, because Prom can suck it.

-bought one yard of 1.87 light blue fabric
-bought a pack of maroon bias tape
-bought black knee highs
-bought 7.96 skirt pattern

I think that i've bought all that's necessary, but I'll leave the final cost until i'm 100% done.

Hey, I've decided to keep track of my daily efforts along my path to cosplay awesome and done-ness..... Lol not a word.
Ok! Here's what has been acomplished on this lovely Easter morning:

Last night I sewed the arm band, just the red base, and decided I smelled nasty so I took a shower.

This morning after I ate a butt load of candy I looked up the Kanji for "Team Leader" as necessary for the armband.

I proceeded to write the Kanji on the armband and dance a bit.

Also, I decided on the shoes. I had three pairs to chose from but I'm going with the darker pair with an elevated heel and bronze eyelets. Its... the most haruhi-like shoes I've got. Not half bad actually.

YAY!!!!
Headband, check.
armband, check.
fabric for skirt and collar? ... Maybe tomorrow.

Things to do tomorrow:
Bother mom for white shirt.
Go to WalMart with Kyle to get fabric.
Buy black knee high socks.

Cash spent so far: 0$
Time spent so far: 2.5 hours
Sanity lost: 1/100 units. (I wore the headband to taco bell...)

But my partners for Ash and Roy couldn't make the costume and the other can't go.
plus one of the members of the artgroup who was also the partner for the FMA cosplay can't make it....

I'll be sixteen soon! w00t driving. Haha, I dont even have my permit yet. XP but i can drive, I swear.
